he Pool House

This is Tom's sanctuary

Back to Homestead

The "Foundation" goes in

Then The Pool

Then the Building goes up (This is my prize project, it took 3 months just to get the shell up, at a guestimate of over 100,000 self-drill screws... talk about a lot of screwin')

The Rec-Room (aka. The Man's Room)

The building was sub-divided into 3 sections; garage, rec-room, pool-room/house. (Total 3460 sq. ft.)

The Summer Hide-out... they'll never find me in here!!

(avg. water temp. 90o F, Room temp. is 80-120o F (see thermometer below)

Does it stand up to tough New England weather... you judge.

These pictures were taken in the winter of 2005, Connecticut set a record for the heaviest snow fall in a 24 hour period... 24 inches fell. NO PROBLEM.

Here it is when it is almost done... The leaves are changing!!

If you look real close you will notice that the back-end and the last section of the roof are not on... YET.
